Government Response to the 2024 Fiscal Risks and Sustainability Report

The Office for Budget Responsibility published its Fiscal Risks and Sustainability Report on 12 September 2024. The report focused on three key issues: climate change damage, long-term health trends and long-term fiscal projections. The government’s response outlines the actions being taken to mitigate the risks identified, as part of the government’s commitment to fiscal sustainability and consistent with the requirements in the Charter for Budget Responsibility.
