POPs are substances that persist in the environment, accumulate in living organisms and pose a risk to our health and the environment.
The Stockholm Convention’s POPs Review Committee (POPRC) has requested information to assist the with drafting of the Risk Management Evaluations (Annex F) for 2 substances:
- UV-328
- Dechlorane Plus.
This information will help determine the need for any specific exemptions and acceptable purposes. These substances have been proposed for listing under the convention as POPs.
