The Office for National Statistics independently ran workshops with members of the front line, including police officers, special constables, staff, police community support officers (PCSOs) and volunteers about their experience of:
- wellbeing
- leadership
- professional development
- change and innovation
This included their views on access to and availability of services. The review has identified opportunities to ensure the policing workforce receive the right level of support and development they need to deliver the best for the public.
