The flood risk management plan national overview (part A) includes information on:
- the context of FRMPs in strategic flood risk management planning
- the legislative background to FRMPs and why we produce them
- flood risk management at a national level
- national measures led by the Environment Agency and lead local flood authorities shown in flood plan explorer
It should be read alongside the FRMPs for each of the 10 river basin districts in England.
