The Rating (Coronavirus) and Directors Disqualification (Dissolved Companies) Bill was introduced to the House of Commons on 12 May 2021.

For England, the business rates element of the Bill will ensure that a ratepayer cannot use COVID-19 as the basis for an appeal against their property’s rateable value.
