This report contains statistics on: 

  • the into-work rate, including breakdowns by geography  

  • sustained employment of Universal Credit customers 

  • worklessness of Universal Credit customers 

  • Universal Credit customer employment by sector and age 

  • young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) across England’s regions and by local labour market type 

  • risk factor of young people being NEET by local labour market type 

  • apprenticeship participation of young people by local labour market type 

  • percentage of young people on the Universal Credit ‘Searching for work’ conditionality regime and ‘No work requirements’ conditionality regime with a health condition by local authority and local labour market type 

  • long-term sickness/disability inactivity rate of young people by local labour market type
