We are seeking feedback on new guidance for vessels that operate in the offshore sector which concerns:

  • applying the special purpose ship (SPS) code
  • applying International Maritime Organization codes and guidelines other than the SPS code such as the mobile offshore drilling unit code

The 2 new draft marine guidance notes (MGN) replace existing guidance in MGN 390.
