Following the designation of the Airports National Policy Statement, the relationship framework document establishes the basis for collaborative and constructive engagement between the Department for Transport and Heathrow Airport Limited with the ambition of achieving additional airport capacity in the south-east of England.
This relationship framework document supersedes and replaces, in its entirety, the statement of principles agreed between the Secretary of State for Transport and Heathrow made on 25 October 2016.
