We want to know your views about changes to the microchipping regulations. Microchipping of dogs has been compulsory since 2016 and we announced in December that we will extend compulsory microchipping to include cats.
The consultation includes proposals to make it easier to reunite lost or stolen cats and dogs and to improve breeder traceability.
