This is a consultation on a competitive tendering approach for the Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes.

This will consolidate the current number of schemes through joining courts, allowing for larger and more sustainable contracts for providers.

There will be quality standards that all providers must meet.

Providers will then bid for work at a price that reflects the costs of delivery and represents a fair market price for the work carried out.

Update: In light of the announcement that a General Election is to be held on 8 June it has been necessary to revise our planned publication date for the consultation results. Further information on timescales will be provided when available.
