Waste incineration guidance: proposed amendments

We are seeking views on whether changes to the environmental permitting guidance on waste incineration are clear. The change affects small, basic appliances such as Small Waste Oil Burners (SWOBs). SWOBs will be subject to the requirements of the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) from April 2016.

We are not consulting on whether or not to make the proposed changes, but on whether the changes are clear.

We are also seeking any information you can provide to support the impact assessment which has been undertaken.
