The UK Government has introduced a Bill into Parliament to seek authorisation to build and operate a new high-speed railway, as part of the HS2 network, between Crewe and Manchester, with links to the West Coast Main Line to enable trains to serve stations in Scotland and the North West.

The Bill was accompanied by an Equality Impact Assessment that reports on how the planned new railway could have a different impact on people with protected characteristics like disability or gender.

This consultation asked for your views on the Equality Impact Assessment Report.

There is also an Easy Read Version of the EQIA Report.
