The Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2026

These Regulations bring into force section 49 of the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025. Section 49 introduces the legislative provisions granting Electric Vehicle Charge Point Operators the legal right to carry out street works using a permit-based system rather than the section 50 licensing regime created under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
