Consultation on Proposals for Local Government Reorganisation in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham

The 3 proposals in this consultation were made by the following councils in November 2025. Proposals for Local Government Reorganisation in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham 1. Bassetlaw District Council, Gedling Borough Council, Mansfield District Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council proposed 2 unitary councils. These would comprise the current areas of: Sherwood Forest: Ashfield, Bassetlaw,
