The Financial Inclusion Committee’s mission is to tackle barriers to individual and households’ ability to access affordable and appropriate financial products and services. The Committee brings together representatives from the third sector, industry (including trade bodies) and government. It is chaired by Rachel Blake MP, the Economic Secretary to the Treasury.
The Committee supported the development of the Financial Inclusion Strategy, published in November 2025, and continues to meet to discuss its delivery.
