This bilateral agreement is in addition to the Faroe Islands and UK’s agreement on North-East Atlantic mackerel signed on 17 June 2024. 

It sets conditions for a further exchange of fishing quotas for both parties for 2025, as well as additional provisions for control and enforcement.
