The 25 Year Environment Plan, led by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, sets long-term environmental goals including pollution reduction, sustainable land use, and pesticide risk reduction by 2030. Current focus includes implementation of the UK Pesticides National Action Plan (delayed six years) and PFAS pollution management with associated Environment Agency funding requirements.
