Disability Action Plan
The Disability Unit and Equality Hub are implementing a Disability Action Plan addressing barriers faced by disabled people across transport, housing, employment, and public services. The plan is supported by related bills on autism identification and learning disability access to services. Current status involves developing delivery plans with concrete timelines, as parliamentary scrutiny has identified gaps in housing policy and slow progress on the 2018 Inclusive Transport Strategy target of equal access by 2030.
