Hillsborough Law

The 'Hillsborough Law' is the Public Office (Accountability) Bill 2024-26, a Government bill creating a statutory duty of candour, transparency and frankness on public authorities and officials, with criminal sanctions for non-compliance and parity of legal representation for bereaved families at inquests and inquiries.
