The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and Scotland Office are administering the Local Growth Fund for Scotland, a place-based economic development programme. The fund's allocation methodology and capital-revenue funding split (70-30) have raised concerns about adequacy for revenue-dependent community and voluntary sector interventions in economic inactivity.
