The Advanced British Standard

The Department for Education is implementing the Advanced British Standard, a new qualification framework intended to replace GCSEs and A-levels with a more rigorous, world-class system. The reform aims to improve educational standards and international competitiveness through a restructured curriculum and assessment model. This is an active education policy reform at the secondary and post-secondary level.
