Counter-Terrorism Schedule 7 and 3 Codes Practice

The Home Office is revising the codes of practice for Schedule 7 (port and border stop powers) and Schedule 3 (examination of property) under counter-terrorism law, following recommendations from the Manchester Arena Inquiry. The revised codes aim to strengthen safeguards and oversight of police powers used in counter-terrorism operations, with consultation on draft amendments completed.
