England Coast Path Development
The England Coast Path Development, led by DEFRA and Natural England, is implementing a continuous coastal walking route around England's coastline, officially named the King Charles III England Coast Path. The project is in active delivery with ongoing statutory direction reviews and consultation outcomes for specific stretches, including sections from Lyme Regis to Rufus Castle and around Weymouth Bay. Progress involves resolving access rights, land ownership issues, and route alignment through formal review processes.
