Ethnicity Data Standards And Transparency

The Race Disparity Unit is leading work to standardise and improve ethnicity data collection across UK public services, addressing inconsistencies in how ethnicity is recorded and reported. The Ethnicity Recording Improvement Plan and reform of the Ethnicity Facts and Figures website aim to enable better monitoring of disparities in health, maternal outcomes, and other public services across ethnic groups.
