The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is implementing homelessness prevention funding and strategies through the National Plan to End Homelessness, addressing housing provision and local accommodation duties. Multiple bills are in development including the Homelessness Prevention Bill and Housing and Homelessness (Local Accommodation Duty) Bill, with consultations on traveller caravan statistics and emergency housing packages. The policy aims to prevent homelessness and provide sustainable housing solutions.
