The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero leads an inter-ministerial group coordinating net zero, energy, and climate policy across the UK, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Ireland governments. This forum addresses devolved and reserved matters on climate change, environmental protection, and rural affairs through regular communiqués. The group is active and meeting regularly to align policy across the four nations.
These Regulations made under section 37 of the Climate Change Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 (c. 31) make provision about the Just Transition Commission.
