Lifelong Learning Entitlement

The Department for Education is implementing the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE), a policy to fund adult education and skills training, with current focus on whether the scheme's scope adequately covers Levels 4–6 qualifications and how local authorities will administer it. The scheme is in active implementation with draft regulations being prepared for multiple councils and cost-benefit modelling underway.
