National Flood Risk Management Plans

The Environment Agency is developing National Flood Risk Management Plans and national flood resilience standards to guide investment and planning decisions, with particular attention to flood resilience in new housing and climate adaptation. The policy is active and requires comprehensive environmental impact assessment including consideration of nutrient neutrality and local authority capacity.
