The Further Education (Initial Teacher Training) Regulations 2026
These Regulations introduce measures to improve the quality of courses of initial teacher training for further education (“ITT(FE) courses”).
The Department for Education is reforming post-16 qualifications (ages 16-19) to streamline the landscape and improve quality, following the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022.
