The Cabinet Office, CMA, and Crown Commercial Service are reforming public procurement rules to support British industry, create jobs, and improve efficiency. Reforms address supplier past performance assessment, carbon emissions reduction, economic growth impact, and dispute resolution mechanisms. A consultation on further reforms is underway, with discussion of specialist tribunals or ombudsmen to handle procurement disputes more quickly and affordably.
