Pubs Code Review

The Department for Business and Trade is conducting a statutory review of the Pubs Code and Pubs Code Adjudicator (PCA) framework, which regulates tied pub arrangements and protects independent publicans from unfair tied-house practices. The review (2022–2025) examines the effectiveness of the 2004 Pubs Code Act and considers market access for small breweries and the future regulatory landscape for the pub sector.
