Social Housing for Domestic Abuse Victims

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is addressing social housing access and tenancy protection for domestic abuse victims, building on the Secure Tenancies (Victims of Domestic Abuse) Act 2018. The Social Housing (Emergency Protection of Tenancy Rights) Bill and related policy work aim to improve housing security and support for survivors, including consideration of pet-friendly accommodation.
