UK Best Available Techniques Review

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs is conducting a comprehensive review of Best Available Techniques (BAT) standards across UK industrial sectors to establish updated environmental and operational benchmarks. The review covers surface treatment of metals and plastics, ceramics, slaughterhouses, animal byproducts, and smitheries and foundries, with sector-specific surveys informing new UK BAT standards. This work supports environmental compliance, pollution control, and industrial best practice post-Brexit.
