Veterans Employment Support is a cross-government initiative led by HMRC and the Office for Veterans' Affairs to improve employment outcomes and economic support for military veterans after service. The policy addresses gaps in transition support, skills development, and job placement for former armed forces personnel, including those from Operation Banner. The programme is currently active with ongoing policy development.
