The Warm Home Discount Scheme provides financial support to vulnerable households to reduce energy bills, administered by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. The government is consulting on cost recovery mechanisms to fund the scheme and has published draft regulations for 2026, determining how energy suppliers will contribute to scheme costs.
