Fisheries Management Plans (FMPs)

DEFRA, CEFAS, and the Scottish Government are developing and implementing Fisheries Management Plans (FMPs) to manage fish stocks and sustainable fishing across UK waters post-Brexit. FMPs cover specific fish species and regions (such as seabream, Celtic Sea demersal species, and wrasses) and are informed by the Joint Fisheries Statement.
