Heat Network Zoning

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero is establishing a regulatory framework for heat network zoning to enable district heating systems to decarbonise and expand across Great Britain. The Heat Network Market Framework regulations set technical standards and zoning requirements to facilitate investment in low-carbon heat networks. The policy is active with technical standards and consultation documents recently published.
