Multiple government departments (DCMS, DWP, DHSC) are implementing coordinated SME Action Plans to support small and medium-sized enterprises across government procurement, policy development, and economic growth initiatives. The plans aim to improve SME engagement, create statutory advisory panels, and establish metrics for monitoring impact, with implementation running through 2028.
