Law Commission Criminal Appeals Review
The Ministry of Justice has commissioned the Law Commission to conduct a comprehensive review of criminal appeals procedures in England and Wales, examining grounds for appeal, evidence standards, and procedural efficiency. The consultation seeks to modernise the appeals framework and address systemic issues in the criminal justice system.
